Trump polls march to one year high on trade war

Just in case you thought China had the upper hand in the trade wars owing to US politics. I’ve circled the resignation of Gary Cohn and the launch of the China trade war:

Certainly not a vote loser if not yet a clear winner:

  1. Bloody awesome. Make taxes reciprocal again!

    Elon Musk approves:

We raised this with the prior administration and nothing happened. Just want a fair outcome, ideally where tariffs/rules are equally moderate.

    Tax them foreigners.

  2. can’t trust these damned polls – always biased against PDJT, just like they were leading up to the 2016 election. If they are saying his approval rating is 50%, reality is likely closer to 60%.

  3. I like it. If USA can show it can win votes by doing what is best for their citizens, even with a potato doing it, then maybe there is hope for Straya.

    • Unlike Gillard and Abbott, Trump can talk.

Unlike every Australian politician, Trump knows the cost of construction. He purchased the Commodore Hotel and turned it into a luxury one.

Obama said “yes we can”, so braindead Gillard said “yes we will” πŸ˜– and kept saying “moving forward”. πŸ™„

      • Terror Australis

He purchased the Taj Mahal casino and sent it bankrupt.
Ever heard of the phrase “the House always wins”.
Apparently not when the House is owned by Donny Tiny Hands.

  4. astrolinMEMBER

A policy he lifted from Sanders. CNN and MSNBC trashed Sanders constantly and promoted dud Clinton. Now they wail and moan about what a threat Trump is to democracy. They put him there when they promoted dud Clinton to run against Trump and gave Sanders little coverage and all of that, negative.

    • You think that was bad – our local BWS couldn’t accept cards on Sunday night.
Had to revert to raiding the cellar to get me through the night!!

  5. Not surprising, the decision to give China favoured nation status as some sort of fig leaf to bribe them to liberalism was a pretty big blunder.

One of the few things Trump is actually right about.
