Former senator Nick Xenophon’s name is to be dropped from the party he created, which will be renamed Centre Alliance.
The Nick Xenophon Team will be renamed to “more accurately reflect its current and future parliamentary makeup” after Mr Xenophon left Canberra for a failed attempt at winning a seat in the South Australian Election.
Mr Xenophon said he supported the name change, which will apply to the federal party made up of Rebekha Sharkie, Stirling Griff and Rex Patrick.
I would go long Labor in every formerly-held Xenoponzi seat at the next federal election.
