Australia’s trade surplus retraces in February

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) today released trade data for the month of February, with Australia’s trade surplus falling to $825 million in the February from $952 million in January:

In seasonally adjusted terms, exports rose by $2 million to $34,229 million in February, whereas imports rose $130 million to $33,405 million, driven by consumption goods (up $547 million or 7%).
