The March quarter consumer price index (CPI) data, released today by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), revealed that annual rental growth at the national capital city continues to rebound slowly from recent 23-year lows.
According to the ABS, rents nationally grew by just 0.2% over the March quarter and by 0.8% over the year – up from September’s 23-year low annual growth of 0.5%:
