Median earnings lower today than six years ago!

The ABS yesterday released its annual Characteristics of Employment report, which revealed that median weekly earnings grew by just 1.9% in the year to August 2017, with full-time earnings growing by just 1.5%. The report also revealed growing casualisation of Australia’s labour force:
