Last month, I published data breaking down employment at the industry level to November 2017. This showed that Health Care & Social Assistance (+123,800), Construction (+91,500) and Retail Trade (+60,000) were the biggest employment gainers over the year to November:

It also showed that Health Care & Social Assistance (+565,200), Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (+242,100), Education (+217,700), Accommodation & Food Services (+183,800), and Construction (181,800) have been the big job gainers since the GFC:
