Chinese growth finishes 2017 with a bang (and a whimper)

China released its Dec QTR data dump last night and it was very solid at 6.8% GDP. The internals were also decent with industrial production at 6.2%, fixed asset investment at 7.2% and retail sales at 9.4%:

All important real estate sales slowed further to 7.7% for 2017:
