Modelling by Dr Dixon and Ms Tran shows the real (after inflation) wages of highly-skilled workers such as managers, engineers and doctors have increased by 1.4 per cent a year over the past seven years – 10 per cent in all – while the wages of low-paid workers – cleaners, labourers and sales assistances haven’t increased at all…
