The ABC’s Michael Janda has penned an interesting article today explaining why Australia’s housing market is more at risk of a major correction than Canada’s, which incorporates views from the chief executive of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), Evan Siddall:

Australia and Canada have a lot in common when it comes to property — both nations have record housing debt and have had surging prices in two of their key cities.
