With the release on Monday of the ABS’ landing finance data for July, it is an opportune time to once again plot CoreLogic’s dwelling price series against the total value of finance commitments (excluding refinancings) as measured by the ABS.

Note: the ABS’ lending finance data is current to July 2017, whereas CoreLogic’s dwelling values are current to August 2017.
