ABS: real household disposable income falling

From today’s ABS Household Income and Wealth survey for 2015-16 comes yet more evidence that real household income has fallen over recent years:

According to this survey, mean equivalised household disposable income, which measures material living standards by adjusting household disposable income for the household’s ‘needs’, fell by 1.9% in the two years to 2015-16, whereas mean gross household income fell by 0.9% over the same period.
