Bernardi calls for Parliament to be suspended

Makes sense to me:

Australian Conservatives senator Cory Bernardi has called for parliament to be prorogued pending the outcome of the High Court cases over the citizenship status of Barnaby Joyce, Matt Canavan, Malcolm Roberts, Larissa Waters and Scott Ludlam have been determined.

“There are great concerns about the health and wellbeing of our institutions,” Senator Bernardi said on his way into parliament this morning.

“And so after some contemplation I believe there is only one way forward for this parliament, and that is for the Prime Minister to prorogue the parliament, and that is to effectively end this session, pending the outcome of the High Court, pending any by-elections that may be necessary.”

Clear it up and drain the swamp.
