Engineering construction rebounded in Q1

The ABS has released engineering construction data for the March quarter of 2017, which revealed a 2.8% seasonally adjusted rise in the value of work done over the quarter, but a 12.5% fall over the year, and an ongoing reduction in the construction pipeline.

According to the ABS, private sector engineering construction rose by 3.0% over the March quarter, whereas public sector engineering construction rose by 2.5%:
