Airbnb destroys rental market

Australia’s youth are really coping it in the neck when it comes to housing. Not only are many unable to afford a home in the big cities, but now available rental supply is being gobbled-up by Airbnb as well. From The ABC:

Airbnb has rapidly taken off in Australia, with 115,000 listings for rooms or entire homes to be rented.
