For first time, sales of SUVs neck and neck with PMVs

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) today released new motor vehicle sales for the month of April, which registered a 0.3% seasonally adjusted rise in the number of sales over the month and a 0.1% rise over the year:

Three jurisdictions reported increases in new car sales in April, whereas five recorded declines in seasonally adjusted terms.
