Macro Morning (Trading Week)

A new month, a new quarter, the end of daylight savings locally (huzzah!) but its commodity markets that are the focus with huge surpluses and burgeoning port stocks up against a resurgent USD that could tip over many proxies – including the Australian dollar. Add the now usual Trump Twits I mean tweets and political firestorms – where even a Republican dominated Congress can’t get anything done – and its shaping up to be an interesting time!

As usual for Monday mornings, I’ll take a step back and look at markets with a longer term view as my “Trading Week”.
