Vic Government planning to fail on housing affordability

The Victorian Government over the weekend released a new plan to deliver “affordable housing” to Melbourne’s rapidly growing population [my emphasis]:

There will no longer be a cap on how many dwellings can be built on a block, but new requirements mean developments must have a mandatory percentage of garden space.
