New car sales continue to weaken

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) today released new motor vehicle sales for the month of February, which registered a 2.7% seasonally adjusted fall in the number of sales over the month and a 4.1% decrease over the year:

All but two jurisdictions reported a decrease in new car sales in February in seasonally adjusted terms.
