Youth labour market sees some green shoots

Yesterday’s ABS labour force release for January revealed a much-needed improvement in labour market conditions for those aged 15 to 24 years old, albeit from highly depressed levels.

The headline unemployment rate fell from 12.88% in December to 12.83%:
