Mineral exploration rises, petroleum exploration falls

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) today released its Mineral & Petroleum Exploration data for the December quarter, which posted a mixed result.

Nationally, expenditure on minerals exploration rose by a seasonally-adjusted $20.6 million (+5.8%) over the December quarter:
