Beleaguered Perth landlords suffer record rental decline

Last week I listed a bunch of measures showing that Perth landlords are hemorrhaging losses. These included:

First, the latest quarterly rental data from the REIWA, which showed that Perth’s vacancy rate had rocketed 6.6% in the September quarter, with house rents falling an incredible 15.5% since March 2015 and unit rents down a whopping 16.7% (see next chart).
