Population ponzi overruns our train stations

A decade ago, Spencer Street Railway Station in central Melbourne was revamped at a cost of $700 million and renamed Southern Cross Railway Station, and was completed just in time for the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

Since then, Melbourne’s population has ballooned by around 870,000 people:
