The Turnbull Government has flagged that it will tighten the eligibility criteria for the 760,000 people receiving unemployment benefits. From The Australian:
Sanctions will be toughened and “high expectations” will be set to require Newstart recipients to prove they are looking for work, under a joint effort by three ministers to fix the welfare system.
