Joye: Banking royal commission a waste of money

The AFR’s Chris Joye has penned a strongly worded piece today opposing a banking Royal Commission:

This proposed royal commission is an exercise in pure political populism from a party that relentlessly opposed any investigation into the banks while it was in power between 2009 and 2013.
