The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) today released trade data for the month of July, with Australia’s trade deficit falling to $2,410 million from $3,250 million in June.
In seasonally adjusted terms, exports rose by $719 million (3%) to $26,425 million in July, with non-monetary gold (+$912 million) driving the improvement. By comparison, imports fell by $122 million to $28,835 million.
