CoreLogic weekly Australian house price update

In the week ended 8 September 2016, the CoreLogic 5-city daily dwelling price index, which covers the five major capital city markets rose by 0.42%:

Values rose in three capitals and fell in two:

Since the beginning of the year, home values have risen by 7.92%, with all capitals except Perth recording increases (see next chart).
