Winter is coming for NSW stamp duty receipts

The NSW Office of State Revenue has updated its stamp duty data for June 2016, which reveals that receipts appear to have peaked:

And this peaking has occurred primarily on the back of sharply slowing housing transfers, whose year-on-year growth rate is about to turn negative:
