Coalition pushes on blindly with more FTAs

Trade Minister Steve Ciobo has appealed to the business community to publicly support the Coalition’s policy of pursuing more “free trade agreements” (FTAs) as it seeks deals with Indonesia, India, and potentially the European Union. From The Australian:

In his first interview since the Coalition claimed an election ­victory, Trade Minister Steve Ciobo said it was important that business, politicians and think tanks who could see the economic boon from trade flows “continue to put those arguments”.
