Mineral and petroleum exploration fell in Q1

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) today released its Mineral & Petroleum Exploration data for the March quarter, which revealed broad-based falls.
Nationally, expenditure on minerals exploration fell by a seasonally-adjusted $17 million (-4.7%) over the March quarter (see next chart).
