Another tech titan scoffs at Turnbull’s ideas boom

Following in the wake of Peter Thiel’s warning yesterday, the chief executive of major financial market software company IRESS, Andrew Walsh, has also criticised Malcolm Turnbull’s so-called “innovation agenda”. From The Australian:

…“It’s inflated with bad cliches,” Mr Walsh said. “The debate just seems really empty and risks being misdirected.”

…“If (we) want ideas to flourish we need a culture of start-up and investment”…
