From the FT:

Donald Trump, the frontrunner in the Republican race for the White House, won Mississippi, Michigan and Hawaii on Tuesday night, propelling him closer to victory as the presidential contenders look ahead to the big March 15 contests in Florida and Ohio.

In the Democratic race, Hillary Clinton won convincingly in Mississippi on the back of strong support from African-Americans. But she suffered a surprise loss to Bernie Sanders in Michigan where polls had put her 20 points ahead. With more than 90 per cent of votes counted, he was leading 50 per cent to 48.

“Every single person who has attacked me has gone,” said Mr Trump. “Of the four [contenders], they are pretty much all gone. They didn’t do so well tonight, folks. There is only one person who did well tonight — Donald Trump.”

The New York tycoon won a strong victory in Mississippi, with 47 per cent of the vote after 97 per cent of the ballots had been counted. Ted Cruz, the Texas senator, had 36 per cent, while Marco Rubio, who was heading for a disastrous night, and John Kasich were far behind.

Mr Trump won Michigan with a slimmer margin. He had 37 per cent of the vote with 93 per cent of ballots counted for a total of 25 delegates. Mr Cruz and Mr Kasich, the Ohio governor, were tied for second place with 17 delegates each.

Mr Cruz picked up his only victory of the night in Idaho, where the Republicans held a primary on Tuesday but there was no Democratic contest. In the Hawaii caucuses Mr Trump was also victorious.

It looks to be all over, from USA Today:

Donald Trump trounced Marco Rubio in a new Florida poll, with Trump receiving twice the support of Rubio in the senator’s own state.

In the new Quinnipiac poll, 45% of likely Republican primary voters sided with Trump while 22% of Rubio’s own constituents who were surveyed supported him.

Analysts have called Florida’s winner-take-all primary on March 15 a “last stand” for Rubio’s flagging campaign, which has faced attack ads in the state by both Trump and a super PAC backing Ted Cruz.

Seemingly undaunted, Rubio has promised he’ll win his home state, along with its 99 delegates.

Elsewhere in the Florida poll, Ted Cruz came in at 18% with John Kasich at 8%.
