Melb/Syd leads land price bubble

Core Logic RP Data have released an interesting report looking at vacant land costs across Australia’s capital cities and regional areas.
According to RP Data, the median cost of vacant land across the combined capital cities rose by 4.0% to a record $265,000 in the 2015 calendar year, versus a 5.2% fall in regional areas to $156,000. The difference between land costs in capital city and regional areas has also hit a record $109,000 (69.9%):
