Housing bubble lifts retail sales

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has released retail sales figures for the month of January, which registered 0.3% seasonally-adjusted growth in sales over the month with annual sales clocking in at 4.0%, and fairly stable:

In trend terms, annual retail sales also clocked in at 4.0%.
