Public servants are the lucky ones

While being a worker in Australia these days generally sucks, owing to falling real wages growth, there is one segment that is faring better than most: Australia’s public servants.

As shown in the ABS’ wages price series below, public servants wages grew by 2.6% in the 2015 calendar year, well above the private sector, where wages grew by only 2.0%:
