WA’s Budget woes deepen

Things are going from bad to worse for the WA economy.

Yesterday’s national accounts revealed that state final demand (SFD) – which measures the sum of “government final consumption expenditure, household final consumption expenditure, private gross fixed capital formation and the gross fixed capital formation of public corporations and general government” – fell for the eighth consecutive quarter in WA and has fallen a cumulative 8.1% since September 2012:
