Re-charting Australia’s budding apartment gluts

With the ABS releasing its population growth figures for the September quarter, it’s an opportune time to once again examine how dwelling construction is tracking against population growth at the state level.

First, the national picture shows that dwelling approvals are at record levels with population growth holding just above the GFC low:
