NSW Govt keeps pigging-out on stamp duty

The New South Wales Government continues to make out like bandits from the Sydney property bubble, with the Government raking in $557.3 million in stamp duties on residential property transfers in November 2015 – the biggest November haul on record.

And since the house price boom kicked-off in June 2013, stamp duty receipts have risen by an incredible 89%, with receipts also up by 24% in the 12 months to November:
