New car sales rise in November

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) today released new motor vehicle sales for the month of November, which registered a 1.0% seasonally adjusted rise in the number of sales, and a 6.0% increase over the year, with especially strong growth in the sale of Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) reported.
