PRIME Minister Malcolm Turnbull is considering a “drastic” plan to rescue WA’s State Budget.

But the Barnett Government’s “royalties for GST” proposal could set it on a collision course with the eastern states.

Every other state and territory would see their share of the Goods and Services Tax payout slashed by tens of millions of dollars, while WA would be $837 million better off in 2016-17.
