RP Data October house prices: Perth pain

Core Logic-RP Data’s dwelling price results are in for October, with a 0.14% rise in values recorded over the month at the 5-city level, whereby value rises in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide were almost fully offset by a heavy decline in Perth (see next chart).

It was the fifth consecutive monthly rise in home values after the usual May seasonal decline (see next chart).
