Roy Morgan unemployment 8.8% in Oct

Roy Morgan Research (RMR) has released its unemployment estimate for the month of October, which registered a 0.5% rise in the unemployment rate to 8.7% from 8.4% in September. However, unemployment was down 0.3% over the year (see next chart).
