For sale listings explode in Sydney

SQM Research has released its stock on market figures for the month of October, which registered a 7.3% monthly jump in the number of homes for sale, with for sale listings roughly level (-0.1%) year-on-year (see below table).

As shown above, for sale listings rose across every market, but surged by a massive 22.5% in Sydney over October, which follows September’s 7.6% rise.
