Australia’s two speed rental market

SQM Research has released its rental vacancy data, which registered an increase in the number of rental vacancies across the nation in October (but no change in the vacancy rate), with the vacancy rate up by 0.2% over the year (see below table).

As shown above, most jurisdictions recorded either no change or a small rise in rental vacancy rates in October.
