Melbourne’s new additions to the skyscraper index

Melbourne’s long-running boom in apartment construction is set to catapult it up the skyscraper index.

Last year, the author of the Toronto Condo Bubble blog compiled data from The Global Tall Building Database of the CTBUH, which showed that Melbourne was ranked fourth for the number of 100-plus metre residential buildings under construction, with 15 such projects underway as at February 2014 (see next graphic).
