Glenn Greenspan fails as Aussie debt smashes records

The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) yesterday updated its quarterly financial statistics, which revealed that Australian household debt rose to another all-time high in the June quarter of 2015.

The ratio of mortgage debt-to-disposable income hit a record 132.8% in June, well up from the June 2010 peak of 120.9% (see next chart).
