BIS: “Mild housing correction” coming. Not!

BIS Shrapnel has released its annual Housing Outlook report for the three years to mid-2018, which forecasts only a mild correction for Melbourne and Sydney housing from mid-next year. From The Canberra Times:

Sydney house prices will rise by 7 per cent for the 12 months to the middle of next year before falling 5 per cent over the subsequent 24 months…
