Australia’s two speed rental market

SQM Research has released its rental vacancy data, which registered an small decline in the number of rental vacancies across the nation in September (but no change in the vacancy rate), with the vacancy rate up by 0.1% over the year (see below table).

As shown above, every jurisdiction recorded either no change or a fall in rental vacancy rates in September.
