After warning all and sundry that todays unemployment print might be a little worse than expected, the ABS has turned around and printed a nice pretty number at 6.2%:
So that’s a 2.5 to 4% gain in unemployed persons in the last 12 months. The Aussie dollar doesn’t know what to make of it, because at the same time we got the Chinese CPI print. The Pacific Peso is bouncing around the 69.70 level:
