Statistics New Zealand has just released its permanent & long-term migration figures for July 2015, which revealed that net migration to New Zealand hit a record highs in seasonally adjusted terms:

Moreover, in the month of July, there was a net inward migration of people from Australia of 263 people – the highest net inflow since December 1990, or almost a quarter of a century.
