Coalition MP warns of risks from landlord army

Abbott Government MP and chair of a parliamentary inquiry into the housing market, John Alexander, has issued a warning that Australia’s growing army of landlords risk big losses if the housing market turns or rates rise. From The AFR:
Alexander agreed with Reserve Bank governor Glenn Stevens that overheated property market, in Sydney and Melbourne, had the potential to cause serious “social dysfunction”.
